The Institute for Automation and Industrial Technology (IAIT) sees itself as a platform for technology transfer between Chinese and German companies. In the role of a catalyst, IAIT focuses on networking in order to develop cooperation projects in mutual interest from a first contact.
Technologies such as Industry 4.0/IoT and Smart Manufacturing form the basis for transfer projects. Through technology monitoring, delegations, events and education initiatives, regional contacts can be consolidated to form reliable networks and alliances that result in mutual market advantages. Sustainable contact management sets the foundation for successful business models and, ultimately, for the creation of innovation that creates partnerships.
IAIT’s promotional spaces are aimed at industrial cooperation, technology partnerships, as well as the networking of institutions, associations, educational institutions of all kinds, media, government agencies and capital partners.
Specific-Focused Transfer Projects
Our projects focus on the transfer of knowledge and competences that are developed and manifested over an agreed period of time. Depending on a project, IAIT calls in experts and specialists from its network to support the ongoing processes.
Delegations & Congresses
Such events offer the ideal starting point for market understanding and business development. They dismantle barriers, create perspectives, intensify contacts and initiate market closure.
Successful cooperations are milestones for partnerships. They pave the way for further business connections that accompany and manifest collaboration in international markets.
Access to technical and scientific potential sets the basis for sustainable development. An education bridge between countries and companies facilitates the international transfer of technology, especially regarding socio-social aspects.

IAIT is currently developing the “Sino-European Procurement Platform” (S-EPP) that launches in October 2019. Together with the Chengdu/Pujiang Province and BME (Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V.), IAIT works with municipalities and local governments to establish a technological platform that matches European demand with Chinese suppliers. In line with the Belt & Road Initiative, the strategic objective of this B2B platform is to tap the full potential of the procurement market in West China for its member and partners. The qualified distributors are mainly focused on manufacturing but also cover other parts of the supply chain.
